Hi, Im Toni!

I am a fully qualified Hair Extension Specialist and focus solely on hair extensions, which I have been doing since early 2013.

I pride myself on offering clients a bespoke customer service experience as well as high quality fitting with attention to detail in the comfort of your own home or mine

I love meeting with clients, old and new, to provide great hair extensions that don’t have the tell-tale signs of being extensions.

Aftercare

Aftercare

Do not wash your hair for:
- Tapes: 48 hours (72 hours ideally)
- Keratin Bonds: 72 hours
Dry shampoo can be used - avoiding the bonds
Brush through your hair before washing to remove tangles.
Use professional, extension-safe shampoo and conditioner.
Wash your hair upright in the shower. Avoid washing with your head upside down.
Shampoo the scalp thoroughly, lifting between rows and around the nape to prevent product build-up.
Rinse thoroughly.
Apply conditioner only from the mid-lengths to the ends, avoiding all attachment points.
Use a deep conditioning treatment every 10-14 days on the mid-lengths and ends only.
Never leave conditioner or heavy treatments on overnight.

Gently squeeze excess water from the hair using a towel. Do not rub.
Apply heat protection and hair oil to the mid-lengths and ends only.
Dry the bonds first and ensure they are 100% dry before leaving them.
Avoid leaving your hair damp for prolonged periods as this can:
- soften the bonds
- shorten their lifespan
- encourage bacteria or mould
Use medium heat when blow drying.
Keep heated styling tools around 170°C where possible.
Tape wearers should avoid prolonged hot showers or excessive steam as this can reduce the lifespan of the adhesive.

Use a specialist extension brush.
Brush little and often, starting at the ends and working upwards.
Support the hair at the roots while brushing.
Separate the bonds daily and after every wash to prevent matting.
If you notice any tangles, use a detangling spray and gently work them out.
If matting begins, contact me as soon as possible. The sooner it's treated, the easier it is to resolve.

Matting caused by poor aftercare may incur a detangling fee from £40.

Never sleep with wet hair.
Brush your hair before bed and tie it into a loose plait or low ponytail.
Tie your hair back when:
- swimming
- exercising
- sunbathing
- sleeping
A loose plait is recommended to reduce friction.
Rinse your hair after swimming in chlorine or salt water where possible. Use hard-water products to remove built up/issues caused by swimming such as Malibu C Hard Water

Mild tenderness during the first 1-2 weeks is normal while your scalp adjusts.
Some natural hair shedding is completely normal.
You may occasionally lose an extension; please keep any loose pieces and bring them to your maintenance appointment.
An itchy scalp may indicate:
- product build-up
- unsuitable products
- incomplete rinsing
- your scalp adjusting to the extensions
If anything doesn't feel right, please get in touch rather than waiting until your next appointment.
In extremely rare cases, some clients may find their natural hair is not suitable for extensions. This cannot always be identified before fitting and will be discussed during your consultation where appropriate.

Maintenance is essential to keep your natural hair healthy.

The below is a guide on when your refits or removals are due - your natural hair growth will affect when the refits/removals are due:

Nano Beads 10-12 weeks

Tapes 6-8 weeks

Weave 8-10 weeks

Keratin Bonds 3-4 months

Nano Beads can be refreshed at 4-6 weeks
A maximum of two refresh appointments is recommended before a full refit.
Delaying maintenance increases the risk of matting, tangling and unnecessary tension on your natural hair.
Professional removal is always recommended.

Before swimming

Wet your hair with clean water to reduce how much chlorine/salt water the hair absorbs.
Apply a generous amount of inexpensive conditioner to the mid-lengths and ends.
Tie your hair into a loose plait before getting in the water.

After swimming
If possible, rinse your hair with clean water as soon as you get out.
If you're heading straight to sunbathe, leave your hair loose and check it regularly for tangles.
Avoid leaving your hair tied up while it's wet for long periods.

Back at your accommodation

Double shampoo your hair to remove chlorine, salt and sunscreen residue.
Apply conditioner to the mid-lengths and ends.
Use a nourishing hair mask or leave-in treatment.
Dry your hair thoroughly, paying particular attention to the bonds

Sun protection

Use a mineral SPF where possible - some chemical sunscreens can cause discolouration of lighter hair extensions.
Avoid getting sunscreen directly onto the extension hair whenever possible ie from shoulders etc

Extension Discolouration

Chlorine, minerals and certain sunscreens can sometimes cause blonde extensions to develop pink, orange or peach tones.
Do not rely on purple shampoo - purple shampoo only tones the outside of the hair and won't remove build-up trapped inside the hair.
Use Malibu C Hard Water Wellness sachets to help remove mineral deposits before considering any toning products.

Policies

Policies

Booking your appointment

Part-payment is required to secure all appointments.
The remaining balance is payable before you leave your appointment.
Hair will not be ordered until 50% payment is made
If you would like to pay the full balance via PayPal (for finance or credit card payments), please let me know before your appointment.

Booking online

The easiest way to book is through the online booking system.
Dual Colour/Extension appointments are booked via Whatsapp
If I book an appointment on your behalf, you will be sent a part payment link and payment must be received within 24 hours otherwise the appointment will be released.

Hair Orders

Hair ordered specifically for your appointment is non-refundable. If you cancel your appointment, any booking payment made will be retained towards the cost of the hair.
Where the booking payment does not cover the full cost of the hair, the remaining balance will still be payable. The hair will remain the property of HB3 Hair Extensions until all outstanding hair costs have been paid.
Once paid for in full, the hair belongs to you and can be collected or posted upon request.

To help achieve the best results, please:

Arrive with clean, dry, straight and fully brushed hair.
Wash your hair using shampoo only on the scalp before your fitting. Avoid conditioner, oils or styling products on the roots.
Wear clothing that allows easy access to your hair. Hoodies should be removed during your appointment.
Bring along any extension strands that may have naturally shed if attending a maintenance appointment.

Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time to help appointments run smoothly.
If you arrive late:
- If there isn't enough time to complete your service, your appointment may be treated as a missed appointment.
- A late arrival fee of £15 per 15 minutes may apply where the appointment can still go ahead.

Additional Charges

Additional charges starting at £40 may apply where extra work is required, including:
- Removal of matting/excessive detangling caused by poor aftercare
- Cleaning product build-up / oil etc before fitting

Notice Required

January to October: 48 hours
November & December: 72 hours

If sufficient notice is given, your booking payment can be transferred to a new appointment.

If less notice is provided:

Your booking payment will be forfeited.
A new booking payment will be required to secure another appointment.

If I am able to fill your cancelled appointment, I'm always happy to transfer your booking payment as a goodwill gesture.

Missed Appointments

If you fail to attend your appointment/miss it due to lateness:

Your booking payment will be retained.
If hair has already been ordered, you will only need to pay the fitting cost when rebooking, not the cost of new hair again.

Outstanding Balances

If you cancel outside the required notice period and have not yet paid the full appointment balance, you remain liable for the outstanding amount.

Service Changes

Changing your appointment on the day (for example from a removal & refit to a removal only) is treated as a late cancellation of the unused appointment time and the original appointment cost will still apply.

I'm committed to making sure you're happy with your hair.

If you have any concerns, please get in touch as soon as possible so we can assess the issue and work towards a solution.

Please do not wait until your maintenance appointment if something doesn't seem right.

Please note:

I must be given the opportunity to inspect the hair in person before any complaint can be considered.
Concerns cannot be assessed by photographs or opinions from other salons.
If another stylist carries out any work on your extensions, my guarantee is no longer valid.
Issues resulting from incorrect aftercare, unsuitable products or changing your mind about having extensions are not covered.
Where hair is supplied by HB3, supplier warranty procedures will also apply where relevant.

Slipping Extensions

If you experience excessive slipping within 7 days of your fitting, please contact me immediately and where appropriate, I will refit these free of charge.
After this period, any maintenance will fall under your normal maintenance appointment or a chargeable mini appointment.

Refunds

Refunds will only ever be considered after I have had the opportunity to inspect the work and follow the above complaints procedure.

Photography

Before and after photographs may be taken for your client records and may be used on social media or the HB3 website.

Please let me know before your appointment if you would prefer your images not to be shared.

Allergies

Please inform me before your appointment if you have developed any allergies, sensitivities or medical conditions since completing your consultation.

Pets & Guests

Due to limited space & appointments taking place in my home, please attend your appointment alone unless agreed in advance.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome
